This position offers the chance to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that’s constantly evolving.Main responsibilities:The Plant Manager will provide strategic and operational leadership to ensure the safe, efficient, and profitable performance of the plant while delivering quality products and developing a high-performing team. This position is located in Denver, CO. Lead and manage all plant operations to ensure safe, efficient, and productive manufacturing performance aligned with company objectives.Drive operational excellence through continuous improvement initiatives, process optimization, and data-driven decision-making.Develop and lead high-performing teams by fostering employee engagement, accountability, collaboration, and professional development.Ensure product quality and food safety compliance by maintaining rigorous quality standards and adherence to regulatory requirements.Oversee resource utilization and production plans to maximize efficiency, meet customer demand, and minimize waste.Promote a culture of safety by ensuring compliance with safety policies, conducting audits, and driving proactive risk management.Manage plant financial performance through budget oversight, cost-control initiatives, and efficient allocation of resources.Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Logistics, Maintenance, Quality, and other departments to achieve operational goals.Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) related to safety, quality, productivity, cost, service, and employee engagement.Provide strategic leadership and problem-solving to address operational challenges, support business growth, and drive sustainable results. We are looking for candidates who possess the following:All other duties as assigned. We believe the successful candidate has these qualifications and experience:7 to 10 years of increasing levels of responsibility in a manufacturing environment.3 plus years’ experience with implementing Lean Manufacturing Principles.Strong leadership background – ability to direct a diverse unionized workforce.Financial/budget management experience.Capital project development, cost estimation, and management skills.Proven negotiation, management, interpersonal, coaching, and team building skills.Managing for Results/ Development skillsProduction Engineering knowledge.Ability to interface with regulatory agencies.Exceptional verbal/written communication.Ability to manage and develop employees.Strong skills Working knowledge of MS applications including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, - PowerPoint and ability to grasp additional business-related applications.
