Position Summary

Critical Energy Services is seeking experienced DC Technicians to join our growing team. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong telecommunications and critical power background who take pride in delivering quality workmanship and maintaining the highest safety standards. The successful candidate will perform DC power installations, cable racking, grounding, testing, and cutover activities while supporting critical infrastructure projects throughout our eight-state service area (Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Louisianna, Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas, and South Carolina).

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Minimum four (4) years of experience installing, wiring, testing, and commissioning DC power systems
• Proven telecommunications industry experience
• Experience reading and interpreting installation drawings and specifications
• Proficient with digital multimeters and testing procedures
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and email applications
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and travel as required
• Must have personal, general tools

Key Responsibilities

• Install DC power plants and associated equipment
• Perform primary and secondary power cabling installations
• Install and terminate Cat 6/6E and fiber optic infrastructure
• Install fiber guide systems, cable racks, stanchions, and related ironwork
• Conduct equipment testing using multimeters and diagnostic tools
• Program and commission FAPs and controller systems
• Perform nighttime cutovers and network transitions
• Complete project documentation and reporting
• Maintain compliance with company and customer safety standards
• Travel throughout the service territory as required
