This position is responsible for configuring, operating, and maintaining various enterprise-wide systems as well as supporting internal IT partners across the enterprise. The IT Operations Technician will provide technical support to Nucor Insulated Panel Group as required. Installing, configuring, testing, and supporting various business applications and infrastructure hardware (networking, computers, camera systems, wireless hand-held devices, etc.). This position will be onsite, located at our Nucor Insulated Panel Group division in Sheridan, AR. This role plays a key part in accelerating our AI and automation roadmap, including the design and implementation of agentic systems that reduce manual effort and improve workflow efficiency. This position will require a partnership with business stakeholders to translate real operational challenges into scalable, AI-powered solutions. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US (Nucor Business Technology (NBT) will not sponsor the need for a visa now or in the future). Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Provide technical support to employees using phone, email, chat, and the ticketing system; provide in-person support to onsite employees and remote support to other locationsOrder, configure, and deploy new equipment and manage used inventoryAssist in the implementation/installation, maintenance/troubleshooting, and licensing of software and applicationsTroubleshooting and maintaining IT infrastructure equipment such as computers/laptops, phones, servers, access control systems and network devicesCreate and support user account and group membership setupsSupport project work as assignedCreate and maintain documentation regarding incidents, projects, and inventoryWork a rotational on-call IT support schedule to include evenings and weekends as assignedMust obtain AZ-900 Certification, MD-102, and AZ-104 Certification within the first yearMinimum Qualifications:1-year technical experience supporting users with hardware, software, administration and IT customer support as defined in the responsibilitiesIT related associate degree, or 2 years of equivalent recent experiencePreferred Qualifications:Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting MS Windows, Office, Outlook, and other basic Windows applicationsExperience troubleshooting networking equipment, Conference rooms audio/visual, and access control systems/cameras/badgesExperience with workstation imaging software and an MDM solution such as Microsoft IntuneExperience in a heavy industrial settingSAS Platform experienceMicrosoft PowerShell ExperienceCloud Management ExperienceMicrosoft ADO ExperienceExperience working in a Scrum project management frameworkNucor is an Equal Opportunity Employer and a drug-free workplaceNearest Major Market: Little Rock
