Director of Logistics Sales (Clark, NJ)

• Partner with the VP of Sales to shape and execute the commercial strategy for the sales organization, translating that strategy into concrete team goals and priorities
• Build, lead, and develop a team of sales professionals - hiring, coaching, and holding the team accountable to production and growth targets
• Drive new logo acquisition and expand the company's footprint across targeted verticals, leading by example on the largest or most strategic opportunities
• Own pipeline health and forecasting for the team, providing accurate, timely visibility to the VP of Sales on production, growth, and risk
• Identify and develop new business opportunities across the company's full service offering - ocean, air, road, and cross-border freight
• Partner cross-functionally with operations, pricing, and carrier procurement teams to build winning, deliverable solutions for prospects and clients
• Establish and refine the sales processes, playbooks, and tools the team needs to sell consistently and scale effectively
• Represent the company in front of key strategic accounts and at industry events, strengthening the company's presence in its target markets
• Monitor market and competitive dynamics within targeted verticals, feeding insights back into strategy and territory planning
• Report on team performance, market conditions, and growth opportunities

Experience :

• 10+ years of direct selling experience in domestic transportation.
• Proven track record of new logo wins, aggressive prospecting, and consistent quota attainment.
• Deep understanding of multimodal transportation and time-critical service requirements.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close complex deals with midmarket and enterprise customers.
• Open to work onsite all 5 days of the week.
• Willingness to travel for customer meetings (local + national)/
