Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in Frazeysburg, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support a welcoming experience for guests and staff. Pay Rate: $18.83 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time Fri 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

Sat 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

Sun 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, shoppers, and/or store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or customer concerns in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and report details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, common areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor assigned areas for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or access concerns, and communicate observations to management and/or public emergency responders when needed.
• Assist with access control, closing procedures, and/or crowd and line monitoring during busy periods, special events, and high-traffic business hours.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
