Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.20 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout sales floors, common areas, entrances, loading areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and document unusual behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance issues that may impact daily operations.
• Support loss prevention and store operations by assisting with crowd management, closing procedures, alarm-related response, and direction during emergencies or high-traffic periods.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
