Pay: $16.00–$20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

Position Summary

Maker Table Metal Inc. is seeking a dependable Metal Fabrication & MIG Welder to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to develop their skills in welding, light metal fabrication, and assembly.

You will work with light-gauge sheet metal, tack-weld components, assemble planter boxes and home décor products, and use jigs to produce consistent, quality work.

Key Responsibilities

• MIG weld steel components for garden art, home décor, and other custom products.
• Tack-weld fabricated metal parts together using jigs and fixtures.
• Bend light sheet metal components.
• Assemble planter boxes and other products using a screw gun and hand tools.
• Use screwdrivers and other tools to assemble parts accurately.
• Read and use a tape measure to 1/16 inch .
• Follow drawings, measurements, and work instructions.
• Maintain quality and consistency throughout the fabrication process.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Assist with other shop duties as needed.
• Work as part of a team and contribute wherever needed.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic MIG welding on steel .
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools, including screw guns.
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure to 1/16 inch .
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn new fabrication and assembly techniques.

Preferred Experience

• 1 year of MIG welding experience preferred.
• 1 year of metal fabrication experience preferred.

Higher Pay Opportunity

CNC Press Brake experience is a plus and may qualify candidates for the higher end of the pay range.
