Job Description Step into a meaningful role providing support as a School Psychologist in the vibrant New Orleans area. This contract position is full-time, spanning from ASAP through late May 2027. Working onsite, you'll collaborate closely with school teams to help students reach their potential during the academic calendar. Key Qualifications: Must hold an active Louisiana Department of Education Certification Prior experience as a School Psychologist within schools strongly preferred Familiarity with school-based psychological assessments, consultations, and interventions Knowledge of federal and state educational guidelines for students with special needs Clearance required through district-specific drug screening and fingerprinting processes Strong communication and organizational skills Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to support students’ learning and behavioral needs Work in partnership with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement intervention plans Consult on behavioral and crisis situations, offering evidence-based strategies Document services and progress in alignment with district and state requirements Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) and multidisciplinary team meetings Serve as an advocate for students’ mental health and academic success What You’ll Experience: A flexible work schedule of 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, following the school calendar Opportunities to help a diverse population of students in a dynamic school environment Fast-track interview process with prompt feedback, allowing you to plan your next career move seamlessly Work alongside dedicated professionals committed to student well-being Immerse yourself in a role where your expertise makes a real difference.
