Highlights Location: North Bergen, NJ Facility: Hackensack Meridian Health Schedule: Full-time, Night shift What You'll Do Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. Perform age and disease-specific assessments independently. Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status. Develop a plan of care that prescribes strategies and interventions. Communicate, coordinate, and implement the plan of care. Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Administer medications utilizing advancements in bar-scanning technology. Evaluate progress toward attainment of patient outcomes. Identify ethical issues in the practice setting and address them with the team. Maintain competencies, certifications, and continuing education. Requirements Education BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire. Experience Six (6) months of relevant nursing experience or participation in the Nurse Residency Program. Licenses & Certifications NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License. AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification within 60 days of entering position.
