Job Title Senior Associate, Mechanical Design Engineer Job Code 39422 Job Location Salt Lake City, UT Job Schedule 9/80 Employees work 9 out of every 14 days‑totaling 80 hours working‑and have every other Friday off Job Description Currently seeing a qualified mechanical designer. Successful candidates will be members of a highly motivated, multi‑disciplined, cross‑functional design engineering team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Essential Functions Electro‑mechanical packaging and design Modification of existing and/or creation of new designs including electro‑mechanical racks, shelters, enclosures, ground & airborne chassis and circuit card assemblies (CCA’s) and 3U/6U modules Ensure new designs progress while meeting technical requirements and EVMS schedules and budgets Ability to travel 5% of standard work week Must be able to obtain a US security clearance as a job requirement Create 3D models and 2D drawings of electro‑mechanical designs Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
