About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide strategic, operational, and fiduciary leadership for its comprehensive financial, investment, and administrative functions. The CFO will be a key member of the Executive Team, serving as a trusted advisor on financial strategy, sustainability, governance, and institutional risk. This role requires a highly engaged, hands-on finance executive with a deep, expert-level command of nonprofit finance, including complex endowment management, investment oversight, and multi-entity structures. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial planning and analysis, accounting and reporting, treasury and cash management, and will oversee the company's Information Technology function. The ideal CFO will have 15+ years of financial leadership experience, with a strong background in nonprofit financial management, accounting, treasury, and compliance. They should be adept at leading multi-year financial planning, forecasting, and scenario analysis, and have a proven track record of strengthening internal controls and governance. The role demands an individual with exceptional communication skills, the ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear insights, and a collaborative leadership style. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, with a graduate degree strongly preferred. The CFO will also be expected to have executive-level oversight of technology infrastructure, cybersecurity, and experience in contributing to enterprise-wide initiatives, including emerging technology and AI governance.
