Recovery Specialist

Center for Human Development, CHD, is currently seeking2nd shift Recovery Specialist to join ourTwo River’s Program in Greenfield, MA! Two Rivers Recovery Center is a therapeutic residential treatment program for women in early recovery. Two Rivers provides services for up to 25 women and five newborns in a collective living environment, where women (and some newborns) share space and resourcesin an effort tobuild sober community and peaceful living. As a therapeutic setting, we strive to provide each woman with a safe, nurturing environment to foster success. TRRC provides the resources where women grow emotionally, socially, and spiritually through the clinical and supportive services. Your role asDirect Care: Supporting clients' activities of daily living Administering medications as needed Advocate for individuals and provide opportunities tooptimizetheir independence,rehabilitationand recovery Develop professional and supportive relationships with clients and provide informal counseling and guidance with a person-centered focus Providea safe and sober environment that is relevant,consistentand nurturing If residents have children,providethe skills and support residents need to parentresidents’children Assistinpreparation for vocational and workforce development Requirements: All positions require background screening including a CORI and motor vehicle record check, as well as a reliable vehicle. Preferred experience withworking in the substance use/mental health field Experience in a group home settingpreferred Female applicants encouraged to apply This is a full time, 2nd shiftopportunity.
