Cardiology - OFFS Schedule: Full-Time, Day shift What You'll Do Deliver patient care using the professional practice model of Relationship Centered Care. Assess and evaluate patient care needs, applying critical thinking skills. Integrate relevant assessment and intervention skills in nursing care delivery. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team on care plans. Prioritize patient care aspects including teaching and planning after hospital care. Educate patients and caregivers about their plan of care and health promotion. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team. Manage assignments within the Care Delivery Model of Modified Primary Nursing. Role model the tenets of Mount Sinai Relationship Centered Care. Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients and families. Requirements Education Relevant clinical competence in nursing practice assigned; new graduates must possess current knowledge of the nursing process. Experience Relevant clinical competence in area of nursing practice assigned. Licenses & Certifications Licensed as a registered nurse with current registration in New York State.
