The Problem You'll Solve Something is always happening - a game, a vote, a number moving - and OG is where traders come to discover it and make their call. That’s the reflex we’re building: the surface should feel like it was built for this exact moment - every time someone opens the app, their obvious next step should always be acting on what’s happening right now. You will lead merchandising for OG’s surface - deciding what’s featured, how it’s packaged, and how it evolves in real time. You bring the instincts of someone deeply in tune with sports, politics, and real-world events, paired with fluency in how a prediction market trades, to make OG’s surface feel current and alive at every moment. You will operate with autonomy - proposing and making the calls on what’s featured, how it’s packaged, and what comes off the board - while working closely with Product and Market Liquidity and Operations to keep the surface moving as fast as the moment does. Own the merchandised surface end-to-end. You lead decisions on homepage / discovery modules and featured market placement across OG web and mobile - what sits in the hero, what rotates, and what earns its place. Every decision is made against one question: does this get tapped, traded, and come back tomorrow. You make decisions that offer the best commercial quality, working closely with Product along the way. Bring proven merchandising craft to prediction markets. You bring instincts for hero carousels, quick-pick modules, thematic tiles, and high-intent packaging, and translate them into prediction-market terms: multi-contract packages, correlated event bundles, and narrative-driven hubs that make trading on a moment feel as easy and exciting as it should. Build packaged, high-intent merchandising. You create and rotate packages tied to real narratives, and you package for liquidity and clarity so every trade is easy to understand and act on. You propose and make the call on what ships to the module, in step with Trading and Market Ops. Run live merchandising. You swap surfaces in real time during major events - games, elections, breaking news, viral moments. You partner with Market Liquidity & Operations when odds or liquidity shift. You stay calm when the calendar is nights, weekends, and holidays. Speed without sloppiness - you’re managing the public face of the product. Connect the calendar to the product. You own the calendar against sports, politics, culture, and market-moving news so launches aren’t a surprise to the homepage. You flag coverage gaps back to Market Ops before the story peaks. Make discovery exciting, not just functional. You treat the surface as the reason someone opens the app at all - fresh, current, a little addictive. You know the difference between a homepage that’s operational and one that makes someone want to check it again in twenty minutes. Prove it with experiments. You prioritize, QA, and read merchandising A/B tests with Product and Analytics against CTR, conversion, trading volume, and DAU/return-visit lift. You know when a test is invalid. You instrument your own funnel; you don’t wait for someone to hand you the analysis. Watch the competitive set and respond. You track competitors closely, and you propose responses, work with engineers and ship them. Handoff cleanly with Market Ops. You consume new listings the moment they’re live. You feed unmet demand and broken-resolution UX signals back. Market Ops handles the listing and settlement processes while you own the presentation of our customer-facing product interfaces. Surface merchandising you've owned. You have owned sportsbook, iGaming, or marketplace merchandising (modules, features, packages) end-to-end, with a track record of improving engagement, conversion, or volume, and you adapt readily when things move fast and dependencies shift. We care what you've built and owned. Live / calendar ops under pressure. You operate comfortably on event time (nights, weekends, holidays), swapping and re-featuring quickly to keep the surface current as moments unfold. Data-informed, not gut-only. You are adept at defining success criteria and tracking them closely - using SQL, dashboards, or a partner analyst to decide what features, and reading what the data tells you against CTR, conversion, and volume/DAU impact. You make informed decisions and communicate the rationale with clarity so stakeholders understand. Experiment literacy. You design, run, and read A/B tests for merchandising or discovery with rigor, distinguishing valid signal from noise so winners and invalid tests are both handled with the same discipline. Cross-functional collaborator. You work closely with Product, Market Liquidity & Operations, and Marketing, communicating your decisions clearly, coordinating launches smoothly and adapting when the need arises. Domain fluency or fast learning speed. You're comfortable in both idioms - odds, parlays, and hold on one side; order books, contract pricing, and liquidity depth on the other - or you learn fast enough to engage power users credibly on both. Sportsbook / iGaming merchandising. You have experience building and rotating homepage modules, parlay/SGP-style packages, and live in-game surfacing, with a craft for making a screen feel urgent and exciting. Prediction-market / exchange merchandising. You have merchandised event contracts or order-book products, and you factor liquidity and resolution clarity into how you package and present markets. SQL / experimentation tooling. You are hands-on with SQL and experimentation platforms, letting you read your own data and move quickly between tests. Sports, politics, or culture vertical depth. You have a strong instinct for which moments deserve the hero slot. Regulatory awareness. You have some familiarity with CFTC-regulated exchanges, so you factor compliance into how you design exciting experiences. Speed.
