Overview
Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (L&D) travel assignment in Everett, WA. Start date: 09/21/2026. Duration: Weeks. Weekly pay: $3,015-$3,208 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Shift: 4x12 Nights. This travel assignment places you in a high-acuity perinatal unit with maternity services and a Level II NICU, with unit notes indicating elements of Level III capacity. The unit supports a comprehensive maternity program with 19 L&D beds, 10 antepartum beds, and 30 postpartum beds, along with 3 ORs, 2 PACU bays, and 7-bay triage. Onsite coverage includes 24/7 delivering providers and 2 CRNAs; Epic is used for charting.

Responsibilities
- Provide intrapartum nursing care with 1:1 labor management, fetal monitoring (external/internal), sterile vaginal exams as indicated, and SVE where clinically appropriate
- Assist/circulate for cesarean deliveries and support recovery
- Deliver neonatal/newborn care per NRP guidelines, including newborn assessment and thermoregulation
- Manage postpartum and couplet care, including hemorrhage prevention/management, breastfeeding support, and discharge teaching
- Monitor and manage high-risk antepartum conditions (e.g., pre-eclampsia/HELLP, magnesium sulfate, induction/oxytocin, VBAC decisions)
- Document care in Epic, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and participate in handoffs and rounding as assigned

Requirements
- Active RN license in hand at submission; compact RN license accepted
- Certifications: BLS (BCLS), ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate OR Relias Fetal Monitoring (hard stops)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of clinical RN experience in labor and delivery or high-risk perinatal care; first-time travel RNs accepted; experience in facilities with 200+ deliveries preferred (100–200 acceptable)
- Education: Nursing degree; current licensure to practice as an RN
- Skills: Proficiency in fetal monitoring, intrapartum care, obstetric emergencies, postpartum and neonatal care, and Epic charting; ability to float to postpartum as needed
- Orientation: 40 hours prior to start; ability to complete required pre-start modules
