Position Overview

A well-established window and door manufacturer is conducting a confidential search for an experienced Western Regional Sales Manager to lead and grow sales across the Western U.S.

The ideal candidate will bring significant experience within the window and door industry , a strong understanding of dealer, distributor, builder, and/or construction sales channels, and a demonstrated record of developing sales teams and growing regional revenue.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead sales growth and market development across the assigned Western region.
• Manage, coach, and develop field sales professionals to improve performance and expand market penetration.
• Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with company growth objectives.
• Build and strengthen relationships with key customers, dealers, distributors, builders, contractors, and other channel partners.
• Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts and develop new business.
• Establish sales goals, monitor performance, and maintain accountability for regional results.
• Work closely with company leadership, operations, marketing, and customer service to support customers and execute growth initiatives.
• Monitor competitive activity, market trends, pricing, and customer needs throughout the region.
• Support major customer negotiations and strategic account development.
• Travel throughout the region as necessary to support customers and the sales organization.

Preferred Background

• Significant sales experience within the window and door manufacturing industry .
• Previous sales management or regional sales leadership experience.
• Demonstrated success growing revenue, territories, accounts, or dealer/distributor networks.
• Experience leading and developing field sales representatives.
• Strong knowledge of the Western U.S. window and door market.
• Established industry relationships are highly desirable.
• Experience with vinyl/UPVC window and door products is particularly relevant.
• Strong commercial judgment, communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout the assigned region.

This person should be comfortable managing established business while aggressively identifying new growth opportunities and should have the credibility to engage customers, coach sales professionals, and work directly with senior leadership.
