Job Overview
WilliamSmith Fireplaces of SC, LLC is seeking a friendly, organized, and solutions-oriented Receptionist / Customer Service Representative to serve as a primary point of contact for customers and help ensure a high-quality service experience.
In this role, you will answer inbound calls, greet customers visiting our showroom, maintain overall showroom appearance and sales support materials, assist with payment collection, and support a variety of administrative functions. This position is ideal for someone who communicates well, stays calm under pressure, and enjoys helping customers in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
For the right candidate, this role offers the opportunity to grow into an Inside Sales position.

Key Responsibilities
- Answer inbound customer calls and process incoming leads.
- Serve as the first point of contact for customers visiting the showroom.
- Maintain showroom appearance and sales support materials.
- Assist with payment collection and customer account support.
- Apply for permits and business licenses as needed.
- Maintain vehicle registrations, permits, passes, and insurance documentation.
- Maintain accurate customer information within the CRM system.
- Provide clear, professional communication with customers through phone, email, and other channels.
- Support customer satisfaction by identifying issues and helping direct customers toward appropriate resolutions.
- Work collaboratively with team members in a positive and professional environment.
- Perform other administrative and customer service duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required.
- Prior customer service experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Office, and Excel preferred.
- Experience maintaining customer information in CRM systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of organization and attention to detail.
- Friendly, outgoing, and customer-focused personality.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and sound judgment.
- Good time management and multitasking skills.
- Patience and a customer-first mindset.
- Ability and willingness to perform essential duties successfully, with reasonable accommodations provided where required.
