Job Overview

WilliamSmith Fireplaces of SC, LLC is seeking a friendly, organized, and solutions-oriented Receptionist / Customer Service Representative to serve as a primary point of contact for customers and help ensure a high-quality service experience.

In this role, you will answer inbound calls, greet customers visiting our showroom, maintain overall showroom appearance and sales support materials, assist with payment collection, and support a variety of administrative functions. This position is ideal for someone who communicates well, stays calm under pressure, and enjoys helping customers in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

For the right candidate, this role offers the opportunity to grow into an Inside Sales position.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer inbound customer calls and process incoming leads.
• Serve as the first point of contact for customers visiting the showroom.
• Maintain showroom appearance and sales support materials.
• Assist with payment collection and customer account support.
• Apply for permits and business licenses as needed.
• Maintain vehicle registrations, permits, passes, and insurance documentation.
• Maintain accurate customer information within the CRM system.
• Provide clear, professional communication with customers through phone, email, and other channels.
• Support customer satisfaction by identifying issues and helping direct customers toward appropriate resolutions.
• Work collaboratively with team members in a positive and professional environment.
• Perform other administrative and customer service duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Office, and Excel preferred.
• Experience maintaining customer information in CRM systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High level of organization and attention to detail.
• Friendly, outgoing, and customer-focused personality.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and sound judgment.
• Good time management and multitasking skills.
• Patience and a customer-first mindset.
• Ability and willingness to perform essential duties successfully, with reasonable accommodations provided where required.
