Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse

Location: Arlington, VA

Setting: Hospital

Pay Range: 2079.37 - 2183.34

Schedule: 19:00 - 07:30 (Night)

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Candidate Type: Traveler

Requirements: Must have active VA or Compact License in hand at submission; 2 years of ICU experience; BLS; ACLS; NIHSS; Must be willing to float to other hospital areas if needed (i.e., CVICU/CVSD, Cardiac Tele); Travel experience (min 1 previous contract); COVID: Possible; Weekends: Every other; EPIC Class: Clin doc. The specific class will depend on your travelers EPIC experience. Either CLIN DOC ACCELERATED (for RNs with 6+ month of EPIC experience in the past 12-months). There are about 4hrs of modules for this class. or CLIN DOC 2 DAY (for RNs with less than 6 months of EPIC experience in the past 12-months). There are no modules for this class. Flu vaccine is required during flu season (Oct 1st - Mar 31st). If your traveler is requesting a religious or medical Flu exemption, it will be the responsibility of the agency to ensure the travelers request complies with CMS guidelines. Qualivis will review/approve each request with supporting documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized ICU patient care during night shifts.
• Float to other hospital units such as CVICU/CVSD, Cardiac Tele as needed.
• Adhere to EPIC documentation requirements based on training.
• Comply with infection control and safety protocols, including flu vaccination during season.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes.
