Lead Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). West Palm Beach, FL. Full-time, on-site, W-2. About the Practice We are a Medicaid-forward outpatient addiction and mental health practice opening in Palm Beach County, Florida. We blend psychiatric medication management, medication-assisted treatment (MAT), and interventional psychiatry, including Spravato (esketamine) under REMS and TMS, inside a trauma-informed, inclusive culture built around the patients and communities we serve. We are founder-led and physician-anchored, with a board-certified psychiatrist serving as Medical Director and a clinical supervisor and operations team already in place. The Role As our Lead Nurse Practitioner, you will be the primary prescriber and psychiatric anchor of the floor, running the clinical day when the Medical Director is remote. This is a psychiatric medication management role with real exposure to interventional psychiatry and MAT, ideal for an experienced PMHNP who wants autonomy, a collaborative team behind them, and the chance to keep growing in cutting-edge treatments. Key Responsibilities Conduct new psychiatric evaluations, MAT follow-ups, and ongoing medication management. Provide MAT using Suboxone and buprenorphine for patients with substance use disorders. Become Spravato (esketamine) REMS certified within 60 days of start (we support this). Work a tandem clinical day alongside the Medical Director each week on complex charts and new evaluations. Manage a daily visit volume that ramps over time, set together with the Medical Director. Complete clinical notes within 48 to 72 hours of each encounter. Partner with the Medical Director on complex bipolar, trauma, and treatment-resistant cases, so you always have psychiatric backup. Schedule and Structure Full-time, Monday through Friday, on-site in West Palm Beach. W-2 employee. Specific clinical days finalized with the Medical Director. Brief pre-day chart review and a morning huddle with your medical assistant and reception team. Qualifications Master's or Doctorate in Nursing from an accredited program. Active Florida Nurse Practitioner license (required). Active DEA registration (required). PMHNP certification strongly preferred, primary care experience a plus. Roughly 1 to 5 years of experience, seasoned enough to handle high-acuity, underserved populations (more experience welcome). Hospital and PHP exposure preferred over a brand-new graduate. Comfortable working with substance use disorder populations. Nice to Have Spanish or Haitian Creole language skills, a strong plus for our community.
