Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - ICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced critical care to neuro ICU patients, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols.
• Utilize expertise in Level 1 Trauma experience to optimize patient outcomes.
• Perform proficient ICP monitoring and strong neuro assessments.
• Participate in Cerner EMR documentation to maintain accurate patient records.
• Float as required to MS/Tele floors with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio, maintaining flexibility across units.
• Engage in SIMs Lab to ensure skill proficiency in catheter and central line procedures.

Qualifications

• Current RN license with Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience in a large facility, with Level 1 Trauma experience required.
• EVD experience and strong neuro ICU experience is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to pass the DYS exam, with two attempts allowed.
• Willingness to adhere to grooming standards for fit testing and facility-specific requirements.
• Ability to travel and provide personal transportation for assignments.
