Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health and emotional well-being to develop an accurate understanding of their needs. Create and implement personalized treatment plans that address the unique goals of each client, employing evidence-based therapeutic interventions. Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions, facilitating a safe and supportive environment for clients to explore their feelings. Regularly monitor and document clients' progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. Deliver crisis intervention services as needed, offering immediate support to clients facing acute emotional distress. Maintain meticulous and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care that holistically addresses client needs. Utilize the latest advancements in mental health research to inform practice and enhance treatment effectiveness. Engage in ongoing supervision and training to further develop clinical skills and stay updated on industry trends. Comply with ethical guidelines as set by relevant licensing boards and professional organizations. Patient Population / Client Focus As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Turning Tides, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational issues. Your role will require nurturing a trusting therapeutic relationship to empower clients in managing their mental health. By employing a client-centered approach, you'll facilitate growth and healing in a variety of backgrounds and life circumstances. Qualifications A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required. Current state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, LCSW). Demonstrated strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with clients and colleagues. A deep sense of empathy and commitment to enhancing client well-being. Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team setting. Familiarity with ethical guidelines governing mental health practice. A strong commitment to ongoing professional development and learning. Preferred Experience A minimum of three years of experience in mental health counseling or a related field is essential. Direct experience with crisis intervention techniques and various therapeutic modalities is highly preferred. Compensation and Benefits Competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
