About the Role
The Company is in need of a VP of Finance & Controller to play a pivotal role in leading its financial operations during a period of strategic scaling. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and delivery of sophisticated financial statements, leading all external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting to ensure 100% compliance with GAAP and industry-specific regulations. This role also involves managing capital reporting for various stakeholders, supporting due diligence for acquisitions and financing, and building a robust control environment to safeguard company assets. Applicants for the VP of Finance & Controller position at the company should have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, with a strong background in GAAP, tax compliance, and financial operations. The role requires a leader with a proven track record in departmental leadership, infrastructure optimization, and process improvement to support the company's growth and new entity integrations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and possess the technical skills necessary for general ledger, accounts payable, fixed assets, cash management, payroll accounting, and financial audit. Experience in ERP systems and a deep understanding of investor and lender reporting, as well as acquisitions, are also essential.
