MS-IL Staffing & Packaging and its local clients are NOW HIRING for 1st shift Warehouse Associate in the Plainfield IN , area!

Position: Warehouse Associate

Shift: Tuesday-Saturday 7:30a to 4p

P ay: $18.50 / hour

Location: Plainfield

Summary of Position: In a warehouse environment, perform a variety of activities related to the storage and shipping of raw material and/or finished product to support the overall operation and exceed customer expectations.

Key Accountabilities:

• Perform sorting, stacking, cleaning, washing, stocking and inspection of cartons, pallets, or parts as assigned to support the operation
• Assist in filling and packaging orders and completing paperwork according to instructions
• Operate cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment to move/deliver stock
• Assist machine operators with a variety of functions as required to support the operation
• Perform general clean-up activities
• Maintain all equipment in working condition; report issues or breakdowns to the supervisor or Lead immediately
• Train others when required
• Participate, support, and comply with all health, safety, quality, compliance, and Lean initiatives, requirements, and/or trainings
• Ability to access and work in SAP or other Warehouse Management System

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read, write, and speak and understand fluent English
• Ability to perform basic math
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to use and understand scanning technology
• Meet ITAR compliance – US Citizen, US Person or Granted Asylum

Preferred requirements:

• Previous warehouse experience
• Ability to use hand-held measuring tools
• Proficiency with the computer beyond the basic level.
