Nurse Practitioner - Primary Care

Noorda College of Osteopathic Medicine is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive, evidence-based primary care across the lifespan while helping educate future physicians and supporting clinic- and school-based research! Key Responsibilities Assess, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic conditions; provide preventive care and lifestyle-focused patient education. Order and interpret diagnostic studies, prescribe therapies, coordinate referrals, and maintain timely EHR documentation. Precept and mentor medical students, providing instruction, feedback, and clinical performance evaluation. Participate in research, quality improvement, patient safety, and population health initiatives. Collaborate with physicians, faculty, researchers, and interprofessional team members. Required Qualifications MSN or DNP from an accredited program. Current Utah APRN/NP license, or eligibility before start date. National Family Nurse Practitioner certification through AANP or ANCC. Active DEA registration, or eligibility before start date, and current BLS certification. Primary care or family medicine experience with strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience in pediatrics, behavioral health, clinical teaching, research, lifestyle medicine, contemporary EHR systems, or value-based care is preferred. Schedule & Location Part-time, 0.5 FTE | Approximately 2–2.5 clinical days per week Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation is offered based on experience and qualifications, prorated to 0.5 FTE.
