This strategic leadership role is responsible for ensuring financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency across all entities. Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all accounting operations, including billing, A/R, A/P, GL, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition.
- Prepare timely and accurate financial statements and reports for multiple entities.
- Develop and monitor internal controls to ensure data integrity and safeguard company assets.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements.
- Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors and tax advisors.
- Implement and maintain financial systems and process improvements.
- Provide strategic financial insights to support executive decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
- Minimum 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a Controller role.
- Experience in oil & gas wells production operations and real estate rental property management highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software, including PAK, Buildium, QuickBooks, and ERP systems.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
