About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of Clinical Development to lead the clinical outcomes strategy for its AI cardiometabolic care solution. This role is pivotal in driving the integration of clinical expertise into product development, AI behavior, and operational workflows. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting clinical validation standards, providing clinical input for feature assessment, and monitoring clinical outcomes to ensure the continuous improvement of the program. A key aspect of the role is to define the clinical role and boundaries of the AI-supported experiences, as well as to establish clinical quality standards for clinical operations. The Head of Clinical Development will also be expected to represent the clinical perspective in internal AI monitoring and governance boards. Applicants must be licensed clinicians with a minimum of 8 years' clinical experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role within digital health, health-tech, or value-based care. Deep expertise in cardiometabolic conditions, particularly in the areas of hypertension, pre-diabetes, diabetes, obesity, and GLP-1 therapeutics, is essential. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record of being the external clinical voice for a product, experience in clinical partnerships, and a strong background in clinical governance for AI-driven care experiences. The ideal candidate will have experience in outcomes-based contracting models, familiarity with clinical AI systems, and the ability to navigate the rapid scaling of a digital health company. Strong writing skills and the ability to work with ambiguity are also necessary.
