Overview Store A Manager at Circle K – South Atlantic BU - Region 04 - Market 06: 4040 S Nova Rd, Pt Orange, Florida 32127. Availability: Flexible Availability. Responsibilities Leadership and Management: Directly supervises the activities of 2 or more full-time employees, which may include Assistant Manager(s), Lead Representative(s) and Customer Service Representative(s). Recruits, hires and trains employees, ensuring excellent customer service. Develops, manages and assigns tasks to keep the store clean, stocked, organized and well-kept to Company standards. Maintains a professional and supportive image among subordinates and supervisor. Schedules employees within Company guidelines to maximize customer service and maintain store image. Implements non-discriminatory management practices in hiring, training, counseling, mentoring, motivating and separating employees. Store Relationships: Develops positive and professional relationships with suppliers; resolves customer complaints promptly; maintains regular onsite attendance; promotes a safe, positive public image. Training And Development: Prepares ongoing performance appraisals in Workday, conducts 30- and 60-day, 90-day, 12-month, and ongoing anniversary check-ins; trains employees to meet Company standards for customer service, store image and marketing execution; trains on safety procedures and promotes safety awareness; mentors and trains employees on cash handling to reduce risk; ensures completion of required training in a timely manner. Communications: Ensures timely communication to all employees; establishes periodic meetings with store employees and the District Manager. Organizing And Planning: Develops action plans to meet store objectives; maintains store files and manuals; ensures reports are completed accurately and timely; oversees merchandise stocking, display and pricing; ensures posters/signs are accessible. Financial: Analyzes daily sales and expenses to maximize sales and net profits; budgets and forecasts P&L lines; safeguards cash handling; conducts financial analyses to maximize profits; notifies District Manager of discrepancies. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent plus 1-2 years of retail experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience preferred. Ability to supervise and train in use of equipment described in CSR/LSR/SA job descriptions; manage CSR/LSR/SA functions. Proficiency with computer use (reports, inventory control, cash control, employment forms). Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation; open availability; English communication skills (oral and written); ability to perform essential duties and physical functions; ability to operate a motor vehicle; ability to sit for long periods. Certificates & Licenses: Food Server certificate (e.g., ServSafe) and Food Safety Management certification may be required. Typical requirements include: Work a minimum of 50 hours per week. Exposure to varying temperatures (cooler/freezer/outdoors) and occasional noise. Occasionally lift up to 30-50 pounds as needed for stocking or replenishment. Regularly operate cash registers/computers; reach, bend, stoop, push/pull; stand or walk for the majority of shifts. Work Environment Indoor work predominant (about 95%), with responsibilities that may include outdoor tasks and parking lot duties. May require working on weekends and holidays.
