Overview Credence is a technology solutions provider focused on mission‑critical needs for defense and health federal organizations. The company supports the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC)/Intelligence Directorate (IN) as an Information Technology Specialist, primarily at Hanscom AFB, MA. The role involves supporting DoD agencies, the Office of the Secretary of Defense, HQ USAF, and AFLCMC efforts within SCIFs. Responsibilities Provide day‑to‑day support for collateral, SCI, NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and JWICS activities. Administer JWICS IT security services, including IA, technical security, IT network administration, and Information Systems Security Manager/Officer support. Perform COMSEC duties. Improve IT security business processes. Install, maintain, audit, and support a secure MS Windows network environment and web/data application services. Maintain DoD and AF internet applications and protocols (IP, TCP, FTP, SSL). Maintain file servers, firewalls, network access, security monitoring systems, and system documentation. Interface with local customers, providing IT support to resolve problems quickly. Analyze and troubleshoot system anomalies to ensure optimum equipment performance. Perform periodic maintenance, hardware upgrades, firmware updates, and system configuration changes. Perform scheduled backups and manage the data backup library, including storage of tapes, disks, and other magnetic media. Attend planning and requirements meetings with IT staff, program managers/analysts, and customers. Prepare systems for operational use and support operational tests and inspections. Provide technical guidance, leadership, mentoring, and quality assurance to AFLCMC/IN team members. Demonstrate knowledge of AF standard operating systems and server hardware/software (Windows 2000/2003/2007 Server, Exchange Server 2003, Windows 7/XP/Vista). Apply LAN, WAN, and data backup technology knowledge, including COMSEC integration. Work effectively with DoW, military/civilian personnel, and industry partners in a dynamic environment. Assist with the acquisition and sustainment of IT systems and equipment for weapon systems and related assets. Ensure contracting training content, presentation capabilities, and facilities are accessible for personnel with hearing or sight impairment. Assist with the security accreditation process (NCO, WRM, ISP, IA, network centric, global grid interoperability, Clinger‑Cohen reporting, NRA, etc.). Operate IT systems to facilitate standardized file structures and seamless file sharing with SIO, SSO, and directorate staff. Advise and assist in developing system security management plans, PPPs, risk analyses, OPSEC plans, certification and accreditation documents as required by MIL‑HDBK 1785, DODI 5000.02, and AF Supplement 1. Qualifications Clearance: TS/SCI. Master’s or Doctorate in a related field with at least ten years of experience in the discipline, five of which in DoW, OR Bachelor’s degree with at least twelve years of experience, five in DoW, OR Fifteen years of directly related experience with appropriate certifications as described in the PWS labor category, eight of which in DoW. Must meet DoD Directive 8570.01‑M for IA Technician Level II within six months of hire and hold required certifications (e.g., Cybersecurity Workforce Improvement Program). Training costs are not reimbursed; no training may occur during duty/work time. Knowledgeable of JAFAN 6/0, 6/3, 6/9, and Joint DODIIS/Cryptologic SCI ISAC standards, Common Criteria, and System Security Policy. Familiarity with security policy manuals and relevant DCIDs/JAFANs.
