Job Opportunity – Behavioral Health APP – Regional Medical Center

Start Date: January 1, 2027

Schedule: On-site day rounding, 7 on/7 off rotation, 12-hour shifts (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM). Late call coverage 3–4 times per week (3:00 PM – 6:00 PM).

Highlights:

• Inpatient behavioral health focus including clinical documentation and admission evaluations
• Manageable patient census of 21–25 patients with 3–4 daily admits and 1–2 consults per day
• Open ICU model with intensivist team support on-site; no procedural requirements or vent management
• Approximately 300-bed facility with trauma center designation
• Minimum 3-month initial contract with orientation, EMR training, and shadow shift provided
• Balanced 7 on/7 off schedule allows for extended time away between rotations

Requirements:

• Active APP licensure (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner)
• Board certification in primary care or relevant specialty preferred
• Behavioral health clinical experience strongly preferred
• Case logs required for credentialing purposes
• Ability to complete inpatient behavioral health clinical notes and admission assessments
