Globe Life is looking for a Premium Accounting Coordinator to join the team!This role is responsible for assisting the claim operation by completing a wide variety of tasks designed to gather and organize claim information for processing by Claim Examiners and Analysts. Key functions of this role vary as business needs dictate but often include such tasks as e-mail sorting and preparation, claim indexing, customer contacts, and check processing tasks. All while maintaining a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner so that you maintain a professional relationship with customers, co-workers, and management.This is a hybrid position located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (WFH Monday & Friday, In Office Tuesday-Thursday).What You Will Do:The Premium Accounting Coordinator is responsible for various reporting and analytical tasks.Provide training to both Premium Accounting and external department staffMaintain procedure and training documentsThe subject matter expert for Premium AccountingKey contact to research and resolve system issues or errors that are created during the premium accounting processWork with IT and support projects that affect their area of Premium AccountingProvides backup to the supervisor as neededAssist with all responsibilities within their specific Premium Accounting team and provide support for other Premium Accounting teams as neededWhat You Can Bring:College degree: Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience2-5 years related work experience required; including at least 1-3 years of accounting and general ledger experienceInsurance work experience preferred1-3 years of leadership experience preferredExpert level operation of a 10-key calculatorAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office; including outlook, word and excelIntermediate accounting knowledge; including familiarity with general ledger entriesDetail Oriented; ability to do complex research in multiple systemsAbility to multitaskAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentExcellent interpersonal skillsExcellent written and verbal communicationAvailable to work overtime as neededApplicable To All Employees of Globe Life Family of Companies:Reliable and predictable attendance of your assigned shift.Ability to work full time and/or part time based on the position specifications.How Globe Life Will Support You:Looking to continue your career in an environment that values your contribution and invests in your growth?
