Production Supervisor

Production Supervisor - 3rd Shift (M-F) in Central/Northern WisconsinNational privately held food production facility seeks an experienced Production Supervisor who brings current food manufacturing experience to the table. This role ensures the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency while fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and employee development. The Shift Supervisor leads the hourly workforce team and works closely with plant schedulers to plan, schedule, and coordinate production activities safely and efficiently with organizational standards.Essential FunctionsAssume full responsibility for the shift performance, including meeting production targets and operational KPIsPrioritize people safety, food safety, and quality above all else.Communicate daily plans, priorities, and upcoming changes.Serve as a frontline resource, providing guidance and support to employees.Works with the Production Manager to develop strategies that drive key performance metrics.Enforce company policies, procedures, SOPs, and regulatory compliance consistently across the shift.Mentor and develop production supervisors and frontline employees, fostering growth and engagementAddress performance or behavioral issues in alignment with the company's core values.Sets and communicates clear performance expectations, holding employees accountable.Apply critical thinking to identify bottlenecks, implement process improvements, and optimize workflow.Ensures staffing resources are effectively allocated to meet production demandsPromote an inclusive and values-driven workplace cultureRequired ExperienceBachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or other related fields5+ years' experience in leading hourly associates in food manufacturingCurrent or recent experience in an FDA-regulated production facilitySkills and AbilitiesRegular use of logic and critical thinking to analyze situationsEffective interpersonal and oral communication skillsAbility to lead a diverse team of support and professional staffExperience with leading a large team and setting priorities for self and othersStrong attention to detail with effective critical thinking skillsProficient in Outlook, Excel, Teams, and other MS Office functionsExperience with SAPCompensationUp to $88,000 base salary per yearRelocation assistance offered
