As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Vehicle Driver in Oakland, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of banking areas, access points, parking facilities, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized entry attempts or suspicious behavior to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and required documentation in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
