About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of Supportive Services to lead the integration of out-of-the-exam-room services with clinical services, focusing on the social determinants of health. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing systems that advance the company's mission of promoting healthy people and communities. This role involves close collaboration with various supportive services programs, including housing, street outreach, social services, health promotions, and substance abuse recovery. The VP will be accountable for grants management, service line and program development, staff supervision, and ensuring measurable results that align with departmental and organizational goals. Candidates for the VP of Supportive Services position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in social work, public health, or a related field, with a Master’s degree preferred. A minimum of 5-7 years' experience in managing government grants and contracts, and at least 7 years' in providing direct supervision to multi-disciplinary teams, is required. The role demands strong project management, workflow coordination, and the ability to manage competing priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential, and experience in healthcare, human services, or mission-driven nonprofit organizations is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will have a collaborative mindset, be adept at creative problem-solving, and have a commitment to brand consistency. Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are desirable.
