Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.Job FunctionEssential FunctionsMaintain and grow existing customer accounts.Prospect and develop new business opportunities.Present and promote new products and services.Prepare, deliver and negotiate sales quotes, proposals, and contracts.Collaborate regularly with Inside Sales and other departments to support customer needs.Track sales activity in CRM and submit reports as required.Attend sales and product training to stay current in the industry.Resolve customer issues quickly and professionally.Physical RequirementsPrimarily sedentary with some walking, climbing, and standing required during site and customer visits.Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds occasionallyRequired SkillsQualifications2–5 years of outside sales experience, ideally in steel, metals, or industrial markets.Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent industry experience).Consistent record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Why Join UsAt Trident, we believe in making a material difference – for our customers and our team.
