Essential Job Duties

• Transport trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment throughout the United States
• Operate rumble strip installation and related equipment
• Conduct vehicle and equipment inspections to ensure safe operation
• Perform basic preventative maintenance and mechanical troubleshooting
• Work effectively with crew members to ensure successful project completion
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow company procedures
• Interact professionally with inspectors, engineers, contractors, and DOT personnel
• Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE
• Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

• Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds regularly and more than 100 pounds with assistance when necessary
• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, climb, balance, and reach throughout the workday
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Perform duties near moving traffic, heavy equipment, machinery, airborne particles, and construction environments
• Ability to stand and walk on pavement for extended periods

Qualifications

Required

• Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout the United States with overnight stays
• Strong commitment to workplace safety
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision after training
• Good verbal and written communication skills

Preferred

• Experience operating heavy construction equipment
• Mechanical troubleshooting and equipment maintenance experience
• Familiarity with hand and power tools
• Knowledge of heavy equipment safety practices
• Strong attention to detail and ability to read a tape measure
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
