Why We Need You:

As a Distribution Operator, you are essential in the logistics and distribution process of our products. Your role ensures that materials are efficiently loaded and unloaded, stored correctly, and that deliveries are prepared to meet our customers' expectations. Your attention to detail and ability to operate powered industrial trucks are critical to our supply chain operations.

A Day in the Life:

• Receive and manage materials and shipments.
• Prepare and move materials to staging areas with a keen attention to detail, verifying expected quality standards are met.
• Check and select the correct pallets for orders to meet regulatory standards.
• Load materials in trucks and containers to meet the road weight requirements.
• Protect loads with proper dunnage, straps, and load bars as needed.
• Inspect trailers before and after use to ensure food safety.
• Organize and store products in the warehouse.
• Perform equipment safety checks.
• Refuel and maintain forklifts and attachments.
• Ensure quality of materials as the "last eyes on the product" before it reaches the customer.
• Seal and check trailers and paperwork.
• Count inventory regularly.
• Keep the work area clean and safe.
• Work extra hours or different shifts when needed.
• Follow all safety, quality, and food regulations.
• Take on additional tasks as required.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift certification (provided by the employer).

Working Relationships:

Works alongside other Distribution Operators and collaborates with various departments to ensure efficient distribution processes.

To successfully perform the essential functions of this role, the employee must be able to:

• Stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8-12 hours per shift).
• Frequently bend, stoop, twist, and reach overhead.
• Lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Perform repetitive motions with hands, wrists, and arms.
• Operate machinery and tools requiring manual dexterity and visual acuity.
• This role requires operating a forklift and other warehouse equipment.
• Tolerate exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and noise levels in a production environment.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection
