Digital Designer - Social & Web

We’re looking for a talented digital designer to join our 10-person US team on a guaranteed 6-month contract that could lead to a long-term position. You’ll join a crew that includes other designers, copywriters, videographers, and digital marketers. We’re looking for someone to design advertisements for paid social campaigns, creating graphics and landing pages in tools like Hubspot or WordPress (no coding required). Experience or comfort level with shooting and editing social video would be a huge plus. BlueStar is a global IT hardware distributor headquartered in Hebron, KY. WHAT WE’LL ASK OF YOU:

Partner with campaign managers to create graphics for paid social advertising across LinkedIn and Facebook, promoting technology-based solutions. Build visually awesome landing pages (using no-code builders) in Hubspot to support paid ad campaigns. Make content updates to BlueStarInc.com per vendor requests

EXPERIENCE:

1+ years of digital design and video experience Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in digital design, graphic design, visual communication, or a related field—we’re also open to talking to people of all backgrounds with killer portfolios

DESIRED SKILLS:

Beast-level: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop Dangerous with: Premiere Pro, InDesign, Content Management Systems Cares about: Typography, Color, Social Media Bonus points for: Illustration Skills, Animation, or experience shooting/edit social video
