Job Overview

The Operations Manager oversees teams and operational functions within a fulfillment, warehouse, transportation, delivery, or logistics environment.

The role is responsible for helping ensure that operations meet safety, quality, productivity, staffing, and customer-service objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Manage operational teams and frontline leaders.
Oversee daily workflows and operational priorities.
Monitor safety, quality, productivity, and service performance.
Analyze operating metrics and identify improvement opportunities.
Coordinate staffing and resource requirements.
Develop and coach managers and team members.
Implement operational procedures and process improvements.
Work across departments to resolve workflow problems.
Support capacity and operational planning.
Escalate significant operational, personnel, or safety issues.
Help ensure facility standards and procedures are followed.
