Position: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
Location: Vero Beach, FL (Primary Location)
Travel: Occasional coverage at Port St. Lucie location may be required. Travel time is paid.
Employment Type: Full-Time

Schedule:
• Monday - Friday
• 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• 1-hour lunch break at 12:00 PM
• No weekends
• No federal holidays

Compensation:
(Negotiable on exp)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our outpatient rehabilitation team. The COTA will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to help patients improve their ability to perform daily living and functional activities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Implement occupational therapy treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist
• Assist patients in improving functional independence and daily living skills
• Monitor and document patient progress
• Educate patients and caregivers regarding therapeutic activities and home programs
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to ensure quality patient care
• Treat patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric populations

Requirements:
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Active Florida COTA License
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• New graduates welcome to apply

Patient Population:
• Pediatrics through Geriatrics
Caseload:
• Approximately 12-16 patients per day
