Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist assisting students on their journey to communication success. This maternity leave coverage spans August 10, 2026, through the first week of November 2026. You will provide dedicated services to approximately 90 students in grades K–8 across two welcoming school buildings situated conveniently together.

Your days will total seven hours, with the flexibility to design your own schedule while rotating between the elementary and intermediate/middle schools. This role is crucial in helping students reach their communication goals and supporting positive educational outcomes.

Desired Qualifications:

• Hold a current Speech-Language Pathology CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence).
• Previous experience in school-based SLP settings preferred.
• Proficiency in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech and language disorders.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a diverse caseload.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with teachers, staff, and families.

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech-language screenings, evaluations, and assessments for K-8 students.
• Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and deliver effective therapy sessions.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and data for compliance.
• Consult and collaborate with classroom teachers and families to foster student growth.
• Adapt interventions and therapy plans to suit student needs and educational goals.
• Efficiently split time between two adjacent school buildings in a supportive environment.
