Location: Boca Raton, FL

Schedule: Full-Time

Salary: $77,500 - $87,500 Annually

Join Our Leadership Team as an RN/LPN Unit Manager

Yamato Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced RN/LPN Unit Manager to join our clinical leadership team. This role is ideal for a compassionate nursing professional who enjoys leading teams, improving resident outcomes, and creating a positive care environment.

As the Unit Manager, you will oversee daily nursing operations, support and mentor clinical staff, and ensure residents receive the highest quality of care in accordance with facility standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the assigned nursing unit to ensure quality resident care

• Manage staffing needs and maintain appropriate nursing coverage

• Supervise, coach, and support nursing staff and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)

• Conduct resident assessments and ensure accurate, timely clinical documentation

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized resident care plans

• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care

• Participate in nursing staff recruitment, interviews, hiring, and onboarding

• Create and maintain staff schedules while ensuring regulatory compliance

• Address resident and family concerns with professionalism and compassion

• Complete required Preceptor Training and support staff development initiatives

• Promote quality improvement programs and evidence-based clinical practices

• Foster a positive, respectful, and team-focused work environment

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN or LPN license in the State of Florida

• Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience

• At least one (1) year of leadership or management experience in a skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care setting preferred

• IV Certification required

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment

• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), rehabilitation, or long-term care experience preferred

• Experience supervising nursing teams and managing unit operations

• Knowledge of state and federal nursing home regulations
