Job Description

The Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining complex mechanical and electrical equipment throughout the manufacturing facility. This role supports production by performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing equipment failures, and repairing automated machinery, motor controls, process controls, and plant systems. The ideal candidate has strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, works safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and is committed to minimizing downtime while maintaining equipment reliability.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated manufacturing equipment. 
• Perform preventive maintenance on production machinery, building equipment, motor control centers, and plant systems. 
• Diagnose electrical and control system issues using diagnostic equipment, hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing instruments. 
• Assist with inventory management of critical maintenance parts while accurately documenting maintenance activities. 
• Follow all company safety policies, wear required PPE, and support Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) initiatives, including Hazardous Waste and Radiation Safety duties as assigned. 

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required. 
• Associate degree in Electrical Technology, Electronics Technology, Mechanical Technology, military technical training, or a minimum of three years of industrial maintenance experience in electrical, electronic, or mechanical maintenance. 
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair low- and high-voltage electrical systems, control circuits, PLC-related equipment, and mechanical systems. 
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, electrical meters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic equipment. 
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The base pay range for this position is $61,110–$61,110 annually, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
