Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Control Equipment Technician (CET) to support the maintenance and reliability of production machinery and electrical systems. In this role, you will perform general and preventive electrical maintenance while troubleshooting, calibrating, and servicing electrical systems and sensors. You will work closely with engineering associates to resolve equipment breakdowns and keep production machinery and auxiliary equipment operating efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general, preventive, and breakdown maintenance on production machinery and auxiliary equipment
• Troubleshoot and service AC/DC motors, breakers, switches, sensors, junction boxes, exhaust fans, and other electrical equipment
• Read electrical drawings and perform repairs on electrical components within production machinery
• Inspect and maintain conduit, flex, guards, safety equipment, and other electrical components
• Complete assigned departmental maintenance work and ensure safety equipment is properly reinstalled following repairs

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Electrical background with a minimum associate degree or related work experience
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team while communicating effectively with management, staff, vendors, and customers
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and operate motorized equipment such as forklifts and tuggers

The base pay for this position is $23.49-28.73 per hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
