Senior Mechanical Engineer

Bachelors Degree Mechanical Engineering / M.S. desired 7+ years' mechanical engineering design & New Product Development (industrial tools highly desirable, i.e.: Torque wrenches) SolidWorks & PDM Must: conceptualization of designs, prototyping & testing (Cradle to grave design or design to industrialization) Must have Materials knowledge of alloys (chromoly steel), metals strongly preferred. Must have Knowledge of lifecycle testing; dynamic fatigue testing & FEA methods, heat treatments , CNC Machining & plastic injection molding Manage test set ups and DOE's Knowledge of fabrication, assembly techniques and machine-shop practices and techniques Creative, Self Starter Responsibilities: Create and review engineering reports documenting new designs, product testing, and failure investigation Create engineering test plans and reports for product verification and validation.
