All Federal Work-Study students should read the program rules and regulations located at Primary Duties And Responsibilities Position Purpose The Gallery of Iconic Guitars at Belmont University is seeking a Social Media Student Assistant who will assist the gallery in running their social media accounts. Specifically looking for Thursday morning availability. Job Description Assist with the management of Gallery of Iconic Guitars social media accounts. Maintain brand standards of the gallery. Utilize the Social Media & Marketing Calendar and Social Media Management Platform to plan and schedule consistent social media communications. Create graphics using Canva to promote upcoming programs and events Assist with compiling analytics for social media Contribute picture and video content for social media. Responsible for monitoring media interactions as related to the gallery accounts. Represent the Gallery of Iconic Guitars at events as needed Assist with initiating and implementing social media campaigns, contests, and other initiatives in order to increase followers and engagement across platforms Other duties to be discussed based on student interest and needs of gallery The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Work will take place in an office in the Bunch Library with potential for remote work. Part of work requires taking photos or videos at Gallery related events. Use of personal devices may be necessary for parts of expected job functions. Required Qualifications Specifically looking for Thursday morning availability. Strong writing skills and social media content creation Must have knowledge in various social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook Experience with videography, photography, and/or graphic design preferred Strong organizational and time management skills Accountability to consistently meet deadlines Must have FWS Award to apply Required Education Must be enrolled as a student at Belmont University. Required Experience -Writing for publication and/or professional social media content creation is preferred. -Design communication, photography, videography, or any combination of these is preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr Belmont University
