Job Description & Requirements

• Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit

• Shift: 12 hours, days

Unit Specifics:

· Number of Beds :4

· Patient Ratios : 1:4

· Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) :1 Nurse and 1 tech

· Type of equipment :

· Documentation system: Meditech

· Scheduling requirements: three 12s and rotating weekend

· Floating policy: May float to Medsurg/Tele

· Patient Experience requirements: Bedside reporting and making a personal connection with each patient, whiteboards must be updated each shift

Hospital Specifics-

· Certifications: ACLS; BLS
