Total Care Auto

Primary Responsibilities: The Auto Claims Specialist is expected to protect the legal, financial and moral well-being of the Company; provide claims support to customers; be a teacher to support the efforts of other employees to be successful; seek ways to provide superior support to customers and team members. Reports to: Auto Claims Manager

Primary Duties: Manage and maintain acceptable claim loss for dealership zone. Review and approve contract claims. Negotiate and pay repairs at outside repair facilities for out of area travelers. Assist with dealership contract training. Explain contract coverage for components and labor. Authorize applicable repairs. Maintain good working relationships within TCA, the dealerships, and customers. Operate with integrity. Demand the highest ethical standards from self and others. Set an example of outstanding attendance, positive attitude, professionalism, including orderly and safe work environment. Communicate and resolve customer complaints to appropriate management. Perform other projects and tasks requested.

Job Requirements / Education / Technical Skills: Previous Adjuster experience. 15+ years' experience as an Auto Tech or Service Advisor. Automotive experience in service and parts required. Previous claims experience helpful. Basic math skills. Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines and accomplish goals. Basic communication skills needs both written and verbal. Strong attention to detail. Previous use of ADP applications helpful.

Physical Requirements: May be required to sit for long periods of time.
