Accelerated Career Growth! 401k match Job Details As an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including: Managing all aspects of employee relations, ensuring a positive and respectful work environment. Overseeing compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including 1099 compliance and I-9 verification. Administering employee benefits and compensation packages, ensuring they are competitive and in line with industry standards. Processing payroll accurately and timely, ensuring all employees are compensated correctly. Implementing and maintaining HRIS systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date employee records. Facilitating the enrollment process for new hires and conducting exit interviews for departing employees. Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy. Reporting regularly on HR metrics to inform strategic decision making. Conducting performance and wage reviews, providing recommendations for promotions and terminations. Assisting in talent acquisition and recruitment processes. Ensuring legal compliance throughout human resource management. Qualifications: The ideal candidate for this position will have: A minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably within the construction industry. In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices. Proven experience with HRIS systems. Proficiency in managing payroll and benefits administration. Extensive knowledge of 1099 compliance and I-9 verification. A proven track record in handling employee relations and people operations. Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. A degree in Human Resources or related field. Professional certification in HR (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
