Mail Order Pharmacy Technician in Newport, KY

Job Description

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A fast-paced mail order pharmacy is seeking experienced Pharmacy Technicians to support high-volume prescription fulfillment for a CONTRACT TO HIRE opportunity. This role is essential in ensuring accurate dispensing and timely shipment of medications to all 50 states and the District of Columbia. Location: Newport, KY

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (possible Saturday rotation as volume increases)
Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (possible Saturday rotation as volume increases)

Key Responsibilities:

Efficiently pull, dispense, and fill high volumes of prescriptions
Prepare medications for shipping with accuracy and attention to detail
Adapt quickly to workflow changes and fluctuating volumes
Collaborate closely with teammates to maintain smooth operations during busy periods

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

Current Pharmacy Technician license for the state of Kentucky
Proven experience in high-volume retail pharmacy settings preferred
Strong knowledge of mail order prescription processes a plus
Ability to maintain accuracy and efficiency under pressure
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

This contract-to-hire position allows you to demonstrate your skills in a critical pharmacy setting with potential for permanent placement. The role offers exposure to mail order pharmacy operations servicing a nationwide customer base.
