Mail Order Pharmacy Technician in Covington, KY

Job Description

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacy Technician with expertise in high-volume data entry within a mail order pharmacy setting. This role supports the processing of prescriptions shipped nationwide, including all 50 states and DC. The position requires precision and speed to efficiently handle a demanding workflow while maintaining accuracy.

Location: Covington, KY
Type: Contract, 13 weeks with potential for hire
Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Possible Saturday rotation as volume increases

Key Responsibilities:

Enter high volumes of prescription data accurately and efficiently
Support seamless processing for mail order pharmacy operations servicing nationwide customers
Collaborate closely with team members to manage fluctuating workload demands
Adapt quickly to workflow changes and volume increases to maintain productivity

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Valid Kentucky Pharmacy Technician license required
Proven experience in high-volume retail pharmacy is highly preferred
Demonstrated ability to balance speed with accuracy in data entry tasks
Strong team player who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
